The activation question we cannot answer yet

Measured

0 retrievable business or customer-learning records

As of July 16, 2026, the evidence available to this pass cannot connect signup → first real use → paid or retained. We also cannot claim users are reaching the memory “aha.”

Hypothesis

One verified cross-session win predicts retention

In the first seven days, ContextStream recalls a prior decision or avoids a corrected mistake—and the user confirms that the memory helped.

What StreamPilot made

A small clickable “Memory proof” experiment that makes the cross-session win visible, sourced, and measurable.

01 Confirm Save a decision or correction after first real use.
02 Recall Surface it with its source in the next session.
03 Verify Ask whether the remembered context was useful.

7-day cohort

7-day Verified Memory Aha Rate

New users with at least one “Yes, useful” on a cross-session recall within seven days ÷ New users who complete a first real use

A recall firing is not enough. The user must confirm that the remembered context helped.

Action plan

  1. Instrument the confirmation Count a user only after a helpful-confirmed cross-session recall.
  2. Expose the proof on return Show it in the next session after first real use, with the original source attached.
  3. Treat “Not right” as a quality failure Review those corrections before comparing the cohort’s subsequent retention.
